I found myself here-

An island of division

Between the life I left

And the Desi dreams I chase.

In this space of here-

I find ease and peace.

Not enough to pull me to stay.

Just enough to enjoy the view.

Not quite living,

Not quite defeated.

The in-between

Of here and now.
